Finished watching the Korra finale about 15 minutes ago

There were definitely parts I liked in the episodes (aaaaall the side characters aside from Mako) and then the ending bit happened.

I cycled through outrage and confusion and sulkiness before settling into sadness that ain't abating any time soon.

That about sums it up, doesn't it. THERE WERE SOME GOOD THINGS IN THERE ... but it's like there were these gaps the entire season and stuff was just thrown at us and we were just expected to roll with it. Too much tell and not enough show.

It's disappointing because people wanted to love it so much too. :(
