Gonna be going to a wedding this Saturday and need help deciding what dress to wear. I have discovered that I have a fuckton of black dresses and little else of any color. Welp. I'm just gonna apologize right now for my legs, thank goodness my camera's shitty enough that it doesn't show how hairy they are (uuuugh I'm gonna hafta shaaaave and that's annoying as heeeeeeell).

Please take into account that I will be wearing open-toed black heels, will be trying to curl my hair a lil, and will not be wearing glasses at the wedding.





Pros:
- Purty
- Covers the needed areas (aka my legs and that bit of skin between my underarms and my chest)

Cons:
- Perhaps too formal?
- So much black
- Will possibly hafta wear uncomfortable strapless bra
- Makes me look a lil weird IRL



Pros:
- Not actually black (it's blue)
- Covers legs
- Hey look, I actually have cleavage (ok I'm not sure if this is a pro but it sure as heck ain't a con)

Cons:
- Velvet
- You can't really tell, but the shape of my buttocks are pretty damn prominent in this dress
- The cleavage is making me feel like I'm in a Victorian movie



Pros:
- Again, not black, or at least not completely
- Kinda formfitting, but not to the extent of the blue velvet dress

Cons:
- Honestly kinda meh with how this looks on me
- Ugh, will hafta shave, cuz I can't just opaque tights this



Pros:
- Has pockets!
- Not black (I'm not showing all the black dresses I have, I just have TOO MANY)
- Know I can pair with a white cardigan and it'll look pretty on me (see: "Anime Los Angeles 2015" on Tumblr)

Cons:
- My bra keeps slipping out and showing in this :|
- Unsure if appropriate for a wedding, plus I'll be freaking COLD (NorCal actually has seasons, okay)
- It gets crumply on the skirt real fast, which means I'll hafta iron it a bit



Pros:
- It swishy :>
- Planning on wearing opaque blue/teal tights with this (if it ever gets here, dammit) so no shaving! \o/
- Can buy and switch out belts if need be (any suggestions on size and color?)

Cons:
- Blaaaack
- How does one accessorize for this

DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE JEWELERY, OUTERWEAR, AND MAKEUP FOR THIS sob, please help on these things

I would consider the black+pattern one to be the most wedding+seasonal appropriate of the bunch, with the last one as a close runner-up. You see to be a lot more comfortable with the last one, though, so I'd say that that would put that one to the top of the list for me.

As for accessorizing for the last one... If you have any cute hair ornaments, I can see those going well with it. If you have some sort of pendant necklace (rather similar to what you're wearing in the photo, actually), that would go nicely with the v-neck of the dress. If you have bright tights, some sort of bright/chunky nice bracelet or watch could also be nice. And in the realm of outerwear, not sure if you're a hat person, but the classic cut of the dress just screams for a hat to me!

MAKEUP IDEAS, PLEASE

I have a lot of bright red lipstick, but that's prob not a good idea, so would you suggest a coral pink lipstick, a more subtle pink lip color, or shimmery kinda brass color (which I don't actually know if it'll work or where it is at the moment).

Oh hahaha I only wear make up like once every five years. U M well I can't really say since I don't know the exact colours but judging from the photos, I'd go for a subtle lipstick, but that's also because I like to keep things to a minimum.
