Do shoes count? Because I paid something like $80 for thigh-high boots, and only because I had a significant discount coupon (they were regularly like $120) and it was a congratulatory gift to myself for getting a new and awesome job.
Other than footwear... I dunno. I'm honestly a thrift store shopper. I did get an $80 designer sweater with the tags still on for $1 a couple years ago, and that's how most of my clothes shopping goes. Possibly the most expensive item of clothing I've ever purchased was either my yukata (around $50ish), and after that, the corset/skirt set I just ordered a couple days ago. Because it was $33. Marked down from $60. And it is purple and gorgeous and I really hope it fits.
In both cases, the deciding factor was "It's on sale and it's gorgeous AND IT'S PURPLE." So uh, I am perhaps not a good influence here...
