Wreck-It Ralph and Rise of the Guardians

Both movies were great fun to watch!!

Wreck-It Ralph is my forever baby and I want to cuddle it to my bosom. As one of my Tumblr posts said: Everything is beautiful and nothing hurts (except for that one section where I cried like a little child). I really enjoyed the cameos/easter eggs, different game structures and how they differed from each other, and how goooorgeous everything was. Also, I went into the movie expecting to like the different protags, but ended up loving them WAY more than I'd imagined I would. Love it when that happens. Ralph = Not that bad a guy with a heart of gold! Felix = Super sweetie. Vanellope = Spunky girl whose in-your-face personality should not be that endearing. Calhoun = She will punch you in the face and you will like it cuz she's that awesome. ♥

Rise of the Guardians was firmly in the "sure are a lotta dudes in this movie" spectrum and there were moments where I just stared incredulously at the screen (lol Chinese kids believing in the tooth fairy lol), but damn did I love the characters. Jack Frost kicked me in the heart before the opening title sequence even came on, I felt SO BAD for him. :( Also Russian Santa is my favorite Santa, everything he did/said was freakin' DELIGHTFUL. Australian Bunny cracked me uuuuup. Sandy's way of communication was way cool and goodness his sand stuff was gooorgeous. Tooth was great cuz of spoilers regarding how to calm a kid down and also she is a huge fangirl of Jack's teeth which just made me all the more giddy about her. Pitch I wish had more depth than what was shown on screen, but I guess that's the point of him? IDK, his voice made me happy.

Also, who else felt DDD: when the two characters didn't kiss in Paperman? Cuz I had to restrain myself from screaming at the theater screen.

TL;DR: I JUST HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS T^Tb A+ would watch again if only to coo over all the characters.

Willfully ignoring the Guardians stuff (and thus the WIR stuff) until I see it for my birthday, but wanted to comment on Paperman (which is made of adorable): How Yomiko Readman's parents met y/n? [/cautionary link]
